Introduction
Welcome to Excel Jet Consult blog post. In this second post on the new Microsoft Fabric product, I will walk you through the steps to enable Fabric within tenant. Let’s get started.
Enable Microsoft Fabric in the Tenant
To enable Microsoft Fabric for your tenant, you need to follow the below steps:
Click on the Settings icon in the Power BI environment
In the Settings page, under Governance and insights, click on Admin Portal
In the Tenant settings, expand the Microsoft Fabric (Preview), turn on the Enabled switch.
By default, apply to the entire organization is checked. You can enable for specific security groups if you choose
Select Apply.
Once you have enabled Microsoft Fabric, it will take up to 15 minutes for the changes to take effect.
Then you can see the Microsoft Fabric welcome page when you switch to the Microsoft Fabric in the bottom left of your screen
