Welcome to Excel Jet Consult blog post. In this tutorial, we will learn how to enhance disk space by managing data catch in Power Query. Each time we load data into the Power Query, Excel automatically copies and stored the query preview results on our local disk space which is handy for a quick view later. However, user can clear the catch if not needed in the future.
On the other end enabling Fast Load ensures that queries take less time to load. To clear Data Catch and enable Fast Load:
In the Get & Transform Data group of the Data tab, click on Get Data drop-down
Click on Query Options
In the Data Load pane of the Query Options dialogue box, click on Clear Cache and check the Fast Load box
