Sample Data
In the caption below, we have simple data showing Account Managers and sales for each quarters.
- Create Empty Column Chart
- To create and empty column chart
- Select any cell outside the data
- In the Charts group of the Insert tab, click on column chart
- Next, select the data using CTRL + A and copy with CTRL + C
- Select the blank chart and paste using CTRL + V
We have the chart ready!
Paste Special Method
We want to use the Paste Special method
- Again, Insert empty column chart
- Next, select the data using CTRL + A and copy with CTRL + C
- Select the blank chart
- Click on Paste Special located far left of the Home tab
- In the Paste Special dialogue box, check Series Names in First Row
- Click OK
The chart is ready!
